South Park

I think southpark is funny in small doses but I can never watch a whole episode without getting bored. Too many popular culture references. Same with the simpsons and family guy.

The last truly great southpark episode I watched all the way through was the Woodland Critter Christmas Special

Edit* I'm a huge fan of Primus though, went to see Les Claypool in London

You obviously didnt get it as they were not trying to be funny. You need to watch the last minutes of the episode.

No, The fact that "we havn't changed, you've changed"

They were saying that South Park hasn't got crappy it's that we as the generation that grew up with South Park are getting too old and mature to find this stuff funny anymore.
 
Seems like that was the last episode, kind of like them saying that the show has gone to ****. To be honest I lost interest with the show about two years ago. The new episodes of family guy seem rubbish and the simpsons is like a completely different show. I can't believe thats still going, should have ended ten years ago easily.

I really hope they don't run southpark into the ground like the simpsons so I kind of hope that was the last episode.

It's not them saying the show has gone to ****, they are saying that we are growing up and don't find the same things funny anymore.

Hence the use of the new made up music genre to put that point across lol, that you don't seem to get. Tween wave is the latest genre of electronic music, it didn't actually have any fart sounds in it, it just the farts were used to emphasise the fact that it sounds crap to the adults. Like how Rave music sounded rubbish to our parents.

Rave music has always been rubbish. Except Prodigy.
 
I agree, I have grown up with south park (24 this year :O) and I also feel that south park has matured as I have. I would be sad if it was the end of the show but I'm sure they would rather go out on a high than run it into the ground and I think many people would agree with me.

I had seen a site whilst at work which seemed to indicate there would be a season 16 and 17 but i cant seem to find it now.

Surely then the old seasons wouldn't be funny to the same people anymore?

Last season had some great episodes. This one has barely got going.
 
That doesn't really make sense about the audience maturing and not finding the show funny anymore. I hated southpark when it first came out, I never really started to watch it until it was a fair few seasons in.

On average every show begins to wane over time, comdey particuarly and I'd rather southpark go out now or on the next season rather than do what the simpsons are doing.
 
Just wattched "Butters Bottom *****" man is that episode messed up with the cop playing a hooker :p

Its the first episode I have seen in a long while where I could not stop laughing, especially when he asked for the evidence bag :D
