South Park

Yep its not southpark thats changed its the people who grew up watching it have changed because they have got older.

Not me - I find it as funny as the first time I saw it when I used to put it on video to play to all my mates.
I watch the new episodes with the same enthusiasm but I didn't exactly grow up with it because I was already old when it started.

They confirmed season 16 so your hopes are invalid.

Where was this stated? Just curious because last I read they renewed the show for seasons 13, 14 and 15 each containing 14 episodes, that was the 7th of Season 15.

The dialogue between Randy and Sharon was that everything was the same old and getting boring and things just getting crazier, I think that and the whole episode is just Matt and Trey saying that they've gotten older and now tired of doing South Park. They are in a contract and have to do the next 7 episodes, but I think if that was them speaking through the episode, then it's them saying that they can't keep doing it.

I mean they could be doing something else, say, they are trying do some drastic to shake things up and take it in a new direction. But as much as I don't want it to happen, I think they'll end it, it was a good run, don't ruin it.

Also wouldn't be surprised if the next episode comes next half of the season with a "Hah just joking" episode, even though it's not April 1st.

kind of reminds me of this from the 100th episode:

"shows should never go past 100 episodes, or else it starts to get stale with rediculously stupid plot lines and settings"
:D

I just watched the new episode and didn't like it at all but i think that's because i'm severely hung over and could not handle all the noise. :(

Yeah also suspect they're gonna "reset" everything next week. Though it wouldn't be bad to shake things up a bit, the idea of Cartman being best friends with Kyle and picking on Stan would be a comedy goldmine. You'd think after 15 years they'd have plumbed the depths of how far they can push a character as asinine as Cartman but every year they keep surprising me! :)
