Read it in an interview somewhere years ago. Possibly Wired, but not sure. But like I said, I'm sure they don't actually do anything at the retreat so the episodes probably really happen the way your documentary described! :p
 
Yeah they only take like a week or just over a week to get the idea and run with it and do everything within that time frame. Quite an achievement when u think how long it must take to animate stuff, lip sync, voice over work, etc.

Yeah they did a how south park is made vid last year or two i think thats where i heard it from.
 
New season has started in America so you can watch online, otherwise it's on Comedy Central Wednesday October 2nd at 10pm.

Season 17 - Episode 1 just watched and can't say it was that good to be honest, hope the next 9 episodes are a lot better. No mid break this time, just straight 10 episodes.
 
Just watched " Proper Condom use " Season 5 ep 7

I was in stitches, and that's been rare lately with South Park, glad SP is going back to it's funny side :D
 
Well after the extra week of waiting I really liked the Emo/Goth episode... there's a lot of negativity on the South Park facebook page about it.

I was laughing throughout, not enjoyed an episode so much in a while. The main story wasn't based on something in current-news and it was just random **** again :) Though the plant thing was a bit strange, didn't quite get the reference there.
