So not a boaty mcboatface, but that won't stop people as next on the list will be "what colour was his skin?"A 17-year-old male from Banks in Lancashire, who was born in Cardiff, has been arrested on suspicion of murder and attempted murder
Course it will be, and then if he's white it'll be "yeah but he might have been a convert"So not a boaty mcboatface, but that won't stop people as next on the list will be "what colour was his skin?"
yea, where basically you only had to worry about being killed by a murderer. The 90's was the last good decade.
Doesn't matter frankly, the seed is planted, sprouted and grown several feet by the time the police say anything substantial.Course it will be, and then if he's white it'll be "yeah but he might have been a convert"
I'm keeping an open mind until evidence is presented on whether it was a British born man or immigrant. But the quote "born in Cardiff" is incorrect. The statement from the police said "originally from Cardiff". Even the BBC website has it wrong despite it being right underneath the video to the police statement which clearly says "originally from".So not a boaty mcboatface, but that won't stop people as next on the list will be "what colour was his skin?"
Statement on their police website states 'born'.I'm keeping an open mind until evidence is presented on whether it was a British born man or immigrant. But the quote "born in Cardiff" is incorrect. Now, he may price to be Cardiff born. But that's not the statement made by the police.
A 17-year-old male from Banks in Lancashire, who was born in Cardiff,
The official Merseyside Police website is good enough for me.
OK fair enough. I hadn't seen that. I only heard the statement read out on TV. I stand corrected thank you.Statement on their police website states 'born'.
Yeah, not at all offensive to the families of the murdered.Jesus that's really bad.
From what I can see it's meant to be the exact same statement word for word. But they differ in that sentence. Is that a separate statement to the one that went out on national TV around 7pm ? because you can watch it and she clearly says 'originally from Cardiff' not 'born in Cardiff' as the quotes in that article state.
It does say updated. Regardless, originally means originally, not on a boat last year. I guess due to the rules around minors it'll be a while before we hear anything else.OK fair enough. I hadn't seen that. I only heard the statement read out on TV. I stand corrected thank you.
Edit: That written statement is meant to be an exact transcript of what was read out. What was read out says "originally from" while the written transcript says "born in". Not great that the transcript doesn't actually match what was read out.
