i got this last night and its great fun - i adore the aesthetic and whilst the UI is a bit glitchy still - its lovely shooting a bolter and really feeling like part of a very large suit of armour ready to pummel some shizzle.

I struggle to get excited about it, whilst the game is in a much better state now than it was at release they have a lot of ill will as a result. The enhanced edition looks like it could be decent but given the lack of players they're really going to have to pull something out of the bag with it.

I will probably pick it up when it's around £10. The missus would enjoy this a lot too I think with all the new content.

I wanted to love this game. I still do. I just think this is too little too late. Such a beautiful game, and aesthetically the best 40k game out there. It's just missing that magical spark.

I've been speaking to the developers, they have some nice plans. The massive issue for me is replayability, I think if they add in a PVP mode where a certain person/persons can play as the nids then it would make it way more interesting.

Chaps, just fired this game up again after a long hiatus, and was greeted with this:

The flickering effect continues if I load the game

Spec in signature (HTPC), running the latest Nvidia drivers. No issues with other games (PUBG, The Witness etc, most recently).

Did a quick Google and couldn't see anything similar reported, so wondered if you guys have seen this happen?

[edit] Solved, I think - changing resolution a few times and switching to borderless windowed mode seems to have solved it...!

On sale for the next two days at 60% off at £12 which is a good price for the single player alone. MP is kinda dead, but it does get active from time to time.

I'm lucky and got a friend who plays it often, so often join him.

I've been interested in this since it was announced, I've played the board game since first edition and thought the other board game version release was 'alright'. I've been put off due to the numerous bug reports, that the devs were joking around on the streams about it being unfinished like it was some kind of funny joke, and that this enhanced edition has been 'coming' for about 6 months and there's still no sign. I don't know if £12 (£24 because I'd want another copy to co-op) is low enough for me yet. I'll probably wait to see if this enhanced edition ever shows up and what the verdict is then, I've waited this long.
