Spanish Grand Prix 2012, Catalunya - Race 5/20

Do you honestly think Vettel would have done a better job in the same position today? Because I just don't see it.

Also, I said I wouldn't excuse Hamilton's poor performance last season so I fail to see your point there.
Its just one performance, thats all it is (I dont think Vettel would have done a better job for the record) we saw him do the same last season occasionally, so dont think that leads to 'OMG he will do well this year and prove hes one of the best'.

So I fail to see how one race is indicative to anything over the whole season and looking at his track record one seems to have been improving over the last few years and one just hasnt. Please dont think my opinion is made on last years season, Ive said the same about Hamilton in the past and love to think one of these great drives mean hes turned a corner, but hes proven on more than one occasion it sometimes just leads him to a dead end.

EDIT: Honestly we could go around in circles fitting opposing drivers in the others equipment and ask if they would have performed the same in individual races - the way I see it is that for all the great driving Hamilton is supposedly doing its the poor/average/above average drives Vettel is doing thats getting him points, however you wanna look at it...

To be fair, that was a quote from Button when Ferrari were struggling to make Q3. Even Alonso himself (after the win, during the press conference), stated that his win changes nothing and that the Ferrari car sucks.

To be fair he should not make such comments to begin with ;) then they don't come back to bite you.

BBC Reporting there are injuries.

Rumours that it was a KERS related fire. Once they start off they can explode or release all sorts of nasty chemicals.

Senna's car was in the garage.
