Spartacus Vengence

The hunt for Naevia was utterly ruined by the fact they couldn't get the same actress back!

Oh yeah, totally ruined it for me.

I'm sure there was a Roman soldier that wasn't the same one - ruined it for me.
I also saw a continuity fail where they were by a tree and then it was a different tree.
Ruined it for me.

And why is that silly, do you have anything to actually add?

I think you are a very silly person because an episode was ruined for you because somebody from a year ago wasn't the same actress.
Just sounds very silly.

In fact, why are you even watching it when the main character isn't the same one?
Surely you should be slagging it off because Spartacus isn't Andy Whitfield or perhaps that one escaped you.

Still undecided about this. Biggest glaring flaw is lack of a good villain, Batiatus and Lucretia you loved to hate but Glaber you just hate. Also as mentioned above the new Spartacus just looks puny compared to the rest of the cast now, he doesn't have to be the biggest guy but he isn't even big or muscular by typical bloke standards let alone the best gladiator around!

Story will take a bit of getting used to as its not confined to the walls of the Ludus. I still hold hope as Blood and Sand and Gods of the Arena are 2 of my favourite shows.

Have you read the thread? I and many other have criticized it for that reason.

I don't understand while you are failing to understand the concept of changing actors being a negative...

I'm going to assume you haven't read the thread then as you ignored my reply to your comment. *slow clap*

You've only mentioned Spartacus earlier on but you're still watching it
You then come out with something ridiculous about Naevia and use the word RUINED.

I slow hand clap you for being so petty over a whole episode being ruined by a changed actress and of course the latest episode will also be ruined for you because she's all the way through that so don't bother watching it.

Are you one of those people that insists someone should stop watching a show if they point out a criticism?

Ok you're just acting like a child now, or maybe you are one? Not sure.

I said that moment was ruined by it, they did this great reveal of him finally finding his lost love, but it was a different actress so it wasn't clear whether he'd found her or not, I initially thought it was just another of the slaves at the Ludus.

You clearly didn't watch it properly.
It was pointed out that there was 'One here with the mark of the Domina' and Crixus and everybody else knew who it was except you.
I apologise but I find it amazing a whole episode was ruined by a changed bit part actress.

...you didn't quite answer my question.

Did the Domina have more than one slave? Is it not possible she marked more than one?
As the person in question didn't know Naevia and simply mentioned there was a woman marked like that is it not possible it could have been any of her slaves?

I mean maybe you're just used to watching really predictable TV but it's hardly unusual for there to be twists in a plot arc like that.

Oh shut up and stop being childish.
You're the only one who didn't think it was Naevia and it 'ruined' it for you when you found out it was.
Crixis spotted her straight away because he obviously recognised her from behind and held her without looking at her face.
