£10k on a 140bhp Golf would be silly. Are all 2.0 GT TDI Golfs post-July 06 the 170BHP versions or did they still do the 140BHP version as well?
This is the Car in question
edit: Disregard, DVLA site lists the numberplate as being the 145g/km which would make it the 140.
I thought I gave the impression I wasn't interested in the 140£10k on a 140bhp Golf would be silly.
Any reason why you're looking towards diesels?

Yes, I was agreeing with you.I thought I gave the impression I wasn't interested in the 140![]()
I'm not that interested in Diesels, I saw the Golf and thought I'd ask the question (especially not diesels with 90k miles!)Yes, I was agreeing with you.
Would you still be interested in the 170bhp though?
I'd rather have 120d than a Golf 5.

Oddball suggestion: Volvo C30 D5..
When are the 'new' ones from?Stick to your original idea of hot hatches
The new Mini Cooper Ss are coming down to £10k. Those have got to be worth a look, surely?
2007
They weren't going to budge as it's quite a low price for it already, there was certainly not a lot around to beat it, and this was from a Renault Dealer as well. Only point of concern is that the CS3's looked like they'd need changing within 2011 so I'll need to shop around for new tyres at some stage.

Either:
a) Compromise on 'refinements'
b) Drop the age requirement
c) Get more money
