Arrived yesterday, working fine. I asked the seller to mark it as value $25, I got text from DHL saying payment of £3 was required.
Are the images what you expected?

It seems that Hikvision have made some new cameras available.....

the EXIR type look nice.
The new ones which can be seen from the above link are 4MP and offer 120db WDR.
I'm probably being dumb, but I can't get the Hikvision PCNVR software to start automatically if the PC reboots. I've even tried making it a service, but because it takes so long to load it just times out
Any ideas please as it rebooted the other day and I didn't know and so I wasn't recording for a few days.
I'm about to buy a home cctv system form CCTV42 and I'm looking for the best method to connect the DVR, which will be placed in the loft, with the router.
This can be either wired or wireless.
explainWhy would you want to buy low res old tech ?
i stuck mine in the startup folder and used autologin, works fine with that
explain
Perhaps you could help with specifics. What exactly is old and low res about their cameras?
Anything less than 1920x1080 resolution really.

The camera in post #333 is about £100 and uses an ethernet cable rather than BNC/RCA cables.
