Spec me a Coupe!

406 coupe = Bland.
Fiat coupe = Uglier than Ugly McUgly of Ug Land.
Hyundai coupe = Awkward looking.

All IMO of course ;)

I'd say 200SX S14a, but then I notice the OP is 18. Therefore I serve no use in this thread.

/leaves quietly...... :o

There are many reasons why a 406 Coupe can be regarded as a poor car but styling is simply not one of them - just look at them, gorgeous. If it had a Ferrari badge and circular rear lights you'd think 'Yea, it's a Ferrari'.

Beautiful.

The 406 looked ok when I first saw one... now it looks more like a boring looking car that's too long to have only 2 doors :(

No, it does not look like a Ferrari. It looks like several feet of generic, bland, mainstream Coupe. With a comedy ride height, wheels that are too small and tyres that have too high a profile.

It's not ugly, but it's not beautiful. It's just........a lump of generic coupe.

Again, have to agree with Drexel, while it looks ok i wouldnt consider it a particuarly pretty car. I really cant see the ferrari thing :/ For £3000 it makes sense, but for any more, it just looks like a big plain peugeot, and has a dated 406 interior.

Yes it does - it was also styled by Pininfarina who know a thing or two about styling.

If you want a lump of generic Coupe the 200SX with it's frankly bizarrely proportioned rear end is that way ---> :p

I don't care that it was styled by Pininfarina, it still doesn't look like a Ferrari, it looks like what it is, a bland, mainstream coupe.

And I'd agree that the S14's rear end isn't it's greatest feature, and the regular S14 is a bit bland, but the front end of the S14a makes all the difference and gives is a nice, aggresive look with lots of presence.

Just because they know a thing or two about styling doesn’t mean they are going to hit the jackpot every time, in my opinion it’s a very bland looking car. It just strikes me as an old mans car, sorry if that offends but its just my opinion of course.

If it were me I would be looking at FTO, 200SX or some other jap crap :D

**EDIT** didn’t Pininfarina design the fiat coupe also? Not exactly the prettiest car but I would take it over the 406.

Anyone know somewhere I can get a half decent quote for one of these beasts? :D

Best I've had so far is over £3k TPFT for a 1.7 Puma

I know it's gonna be more that usual for a coupe, but I wouldn't have thought it should be that high on a 1.7 'cuz it's not that big! :(

It just looks so incredibly dated, both inside and out :(. I'm sure it handles and gos well enough, but just look at the thing! Ewww!

Couldn't disagree more. The MK2 MR2 looks dated to me, so bland its boring. The MK1 has gone past that and now looks classic.

If you ignore the ride height and tyres on the 406, it really does have some very nice lines and looks the part.
