Surveyor thanks for letting me know about this 80 plus. As my first PSU it is quite good. BTW do you know any PSU that is 80 PLUS Titanium and modular by good brand? ta

My comment was tongue in cheek as there aren't any other than server grade units as far as I know.

80+ Silver is quite green so I wouldn't worry about it.

Thank God I dont have 1Kw psu to worry about. That is just mental. Thanks to my green kick ass system i am using super eco GPU 7850 thus only need about 550 W psu.

I am so good!

There's nothing even slightly 'green' about building a gaming pc! You're using pretty much the same components as most other people are using. There is nothing about your build which sets it apart as less environmentally unfriendly than anyone else's.

This is where you go wrong blue160. I have specifically chosen components that are better and greener than others builds. Even by small margin but nevertheless are so.

To name just one, I have chosen Kingston memory. I could have gone with samsung but they are ones that deal with foxcon men. Kingston on other hand has passed various ISO green credentials samsung dont even know about.

Its this little extra mile that counts. As many will surely know and recognize. God bless
