Spec me an LED Torch

In about 2015 I bought a Lucky Sun D80 after recommendations on here an it is still going strong! But all of the 18650 Button Top batteries I bought at the same time have now had it.

Could someone please recommend a decent brand to buy, I hear so many horror stories and Amazon has endless unknown (to me) brands.

Cheers
Have a look on 18650.uk. All their cells are certified and the site is very reputable.
Samsung, Sony, LG, Panasonic, or even those from known torch brands like Fenix and Nitecore are all pretty decent.

Can anyone offer any advice, I'm after a cheap LED light for mountain biking around the £30 mark and ideally available on Amazon as I have a voucher.
Understand I'm not going to get anything amazing for this price.
It need's to be as bright as possible with a battery life of at least 4 hours on max setting and rechargeable. I won't be using it on road it's only for occasional use in the woods etc.

There are loads of bike specific lights on amazon but most are for road use and not bright enough.
I found This One that seems to tick all the boxes and has decent reviews (though probably payed for?)

Before I pull the trigger I wondered if I could get a better hand held torch, maybe something with a wide beam? I could make a bracket for it to fix to the bike but it would need to be water resistant.
cheers.

For mountain biking, I would really recommend a light with a separate battery pack. If you hit some rough terrain I have always found they move about due to the weight. If you get one with a battery pack that attaches to the frame it avoid this issue. Something like - https://www.amazon.co.uk/WASAGA-Waterproof-Mountain-Rechargeable-Headlamp/dp/B07W2WCWXN

Thanks for the suggestions.
I had looked into the Wasaga type lights before, I'll have another look. Think I got put off by some negative reviews, mostly about the rubber band strap and poor performing LEDs in some units.

I do like the idea of a separate battery pack, though a quick search shows they can cost as much as the light.
I'll do some more looking but welcome any more suggestions.

Cheers

I've ridden on canals at midnight with mine, lit it up like a WW2 searchlight.

Thats one hell of a bargain if it actually works. Not sure it can be really '6000 Lumens 5 LED' thats a lot of power for that price but even half would be ok if its including all 3 things required led battery and recharge. The other route is to pay at least 25 for each of those and thats not expensive either

Could anyone spec me a head torch. Needs to be comfy and a good beam of light. My new year's resolution is to womble more than I do now. Dark nights and early mornings are making my picking options limited.
Ive got a couple of sofirn sp40 which are cheap and pretty good. I fancied more lumen though and just ordered an hs20. Think it worked out about £32 from sofirn's site.

Could someone spec me a decent led handheld rechargeable torch? I'm fed up with the cheap one I currently have cutting out while up in the loft. Was looking at the Nebo davinci for about £30. Any good?

Depends what you want it for really, but can't go wrong with the sofirn sp36 around that budget. Think its just over £40 with batteries on aliexpress.

They are quite chonky but still go in a coat pocket.

Mainly for loft use I guess. Maybe a lantern mode would be useful? The Sofirn seems a little pricey, although not checked AliExpress.

Looking at the Nebo Franklin twist 400 now. Currently on offer for £25.99. torch mode is only 400 lumines, is that enough?

Edit: ordered one of these. Looks decent for the money. Should do what I want.

Sure itl be fine for poking about the loft.

I'd have gone for the sp35 at £30 for a bit more bang for your buck but as said that'll be fine for occasionally using indoor.

Anyone care to recommend a headtorch which takes 18650 batteries?

My Aplkit Manta died, so I ordered a couple of new batteries but they've not helped. I could get another Manta for £34 at the moment (normally £44).

I've seen the Nitecore HC60 V2 which is around £60 but a lot brighter. Primary use would be night running on unlit lanes.

Been looking to "upgrade" from my trusty Terralux Lightstar 220 as a hiking torch, seen the Wurkkos FC11 recommended on here and currently £23.99 with 10% off voucher so ordered myself one for £21.59.
