No, the initial wow factor soon wears off and they are just too bulky for prolonged use.Anyone else tempted by the new acebeam x75? Been tempted by a monster lumen device for a while and thinking this may be a better buy than the ms18

I want something I can keep in my farm truck and use to light up whole fields so wouldn't be carrying it too muchNo, the initial wow factor soon wears off and they are just too bulky for prolonged use.
The d cells ones are solid.I've been digging through some old drawers etc and have found a Maglite AAA and a 2xD cell set of flashlights and have thought about using them again. They have the standard incandescent bulbs in them. Are the led upgrades on ebay worth while? Ta
Olight are really overpriced, if all you need is a dog walking torch I'd probably go for something cheaper like a Thrunite/Astrolux.I’m looking to get a torch or two for when I’m out walking the dog in the winter. Are the olights worth it? Looking between the baton 3 and the SR2 Baton.
Is the best place to buy from the olight store?
I currently use a Baton 3 Pro for the night walks. Perfect for the price and performance you get. They usually have some fantastic deals on and you shouldnt need to pay full RRP. Usually the best place for Olights is the Olight Store UK , although there are the occasional bargains on Amazon and eBay. If you are new, you can usually get a freebie keyring torch and money off vouchers when registering with the Olight Store UKI’m looking to get a torch or two for when I’m out walking the dog in the winter. The Reddit thread on r/flashlights has lists of all the best lights in each category. They know their stuff.Reet. I want a headtorch. Needs to be very, very bright for walking the dog at night.
Ideally, it should take 18650s and last an hour with a couple of 3000mAh cells.
I have one like the picture below at the moment and it's fine but the beam is a bit too narrow for my liking and it's not quite bright enough for my liking. I'd like to be able to see the dog from 100M or so away.
