Spec me an LED Torch

I bought an LT1 mini for potential blackouts this winter. It's quite small but lights up a small room fine and you can use it as a power bank.

Thats a beast for a small torch like that and including all parts required its basically quality at a cheap price so long as it lasts

So this is supposed to be £59 but mis-priced on Amazon.
The company honored my order and I got it for £14.
Hopefully cars will see me even better, I've been using the Blackburn 700 for years but this is twice as bright.

I don't have it on at max brightness all the time, unless I'm using a cycle path away from the roads.

Doubt that the Astrolux EA01S can last on 11,000 lumen for too long. Surely that torch will get a bit roasty.

I was surprised how long my torch lasted, but I suppose the airflow helps cool it. At this time of the year, it's probably the battery that gives up before the torch overheats.

will they attach/detach from handlebars easily, for shopping .. do you need a spare bracket for another bike like my aging cateye ?

learned I need 150cd over 10cm2 for adaptive headlights to see me

in reviews it says 30 seconds max and then needs 10 minutes to cool down before you can use it again at that brightness

Got a Sofirn SC31 Pro as a torch to have in the glovebox. Seems decent quality and makes use of the many 18650 batteries I have from vaping days

not for the size that I know of from the top of my head. Something like a Marauder Mini can do 7000 lumens or the Marauder 2 can do 14000 lumens for 5 mins or a decent 3200 for at least a couple of hours.

Runtime/Power/Size

All the torch companies who aren't stuck in the past are using lithium cells and modern LEDs so if you say "better" all that means is different priorities.

The enthusiast places I've been spend a lot of time on the appearance like fancy machining, tritium vials, surface finishes because there's nothing special about maxing out runtime/power/size as everyone knows you're compromising the others.

It is and I think it can do 7000 lumens for much longer. Thats still hellish bright.

In about 2015 I bought a Lucky Sun D80 after recommendations on here an it is still going strong! But all of the 18650 Button Top batteries I bought at the same time have now had it.

Could someone please recommend a decent brand to buy, I hear so many horror stories and Amazon has endless unknown (to me) brands.
