Spec me some lager/ale

why not mate, could be fun, make a night of it trying out a few different beer/ales, you could find one you really enjoy.

Ok I will go out and get a few and try them throughout the week, and report back, if anyone gets bored of my mini reviews I will stop posting. :p

I have to say at the moment Wells bombardier is my favorite... burning gold and the dark one are ok, but the original is definatly the best...

Ok so I got carried away, and yes that is samuel adams in there, however in my defence it reminds me of my holiday earlier this year so I though why not.

Also the big bottle is king Cobra, mmmm.

leffe brun
Jennings Snecklifter
Wychwood Wychcraft

If you can find a stockist near you:
Titanic White star or Iceberg
Titanic Stout

I had a pint of Sneck Lifter in a nice bar on Saturday...mmm.

Where did you find Sam Adams? Only ever seen it in Makro. Nothing to be ashamed of there, its a bloody decent beer! Ive been to the brewery in Boston last year.

Oh, if anyone has a B&M Bargains shop nearby, they do sell good stuff too...Titanic, Wychwood and Lowen-Weiss for 79p a bottle.

Sainsburys it was around £1-30 a bottle.

Dont know which one to have first, I am like a man in a mini beer shop. :D

You have some top stuff there, Im going to hunt me down some of that Triple Karmeliet.

I think in Makro the Sam Adams is around £19 for 24 bottles inc VAT. Comes in little 6 packs too :)

Have a bash at the Weihenstephaner.

Thumbs up to the people in this thread for reminding me of both Weihenstephaner and Schofferhofer, just popped out to the local interesting beers shop to pick up a few bottles :)

Lots of good beers in here, and a few that I've not seen before, so I'll start working my way through as well.

I am currently drinking the Erdinger, it has a nice refreshing taste to it, however has a strange aftertaste that is taking a while to get used to.

Infact me and my mate are now looking at going to belgium for a weekend of beer, 3 nights hotel + eurostar = £150 win.

It is quite a nice lager acutally has more of a challenging taste than most of the mainstream largers, I await the flaming.

Lots of Sam Adams pubs in London, they're all good. No flaming from me.

You've a nice mix of beers there - definitely try more british pale/golden ales next time, like the badger golden champion.

St. Peter's Golden Ale and Fuller's Honeydew / Discovery are personal favourites at the moment, this will probably change :)
