Spec-me

Sorry but 850W will not cover 2 x 580's SLi. http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/308

EDIT: Alright then. According to the nvidia website the 580 takes a max of 244W which I highly doubt but based on that, two of them should be fine under that Lepa 900W.

244W doesn't make sense in my opinion but if thats what nvidia says, you have proof to back you up if anything goes wrong.

Damn I could have powered Sli 580's with my PSU. :(

:p

So should I keep 2 560s see what's good/new in 4 years time and look if it's worth upgrading?

A single 570 should keep you at max/high settings for the next couple of years and then when the GTX7XX/8XXX cards are out you could sell the 570 for ~130 + the 130 you saved not getting SLI Tis/single 580 to have a decent amount of cash for a new card in a couple of years time.

Not everybody checks the same thread over and over again, and constantly, just calm down :)

I think (personally) a single 580 will do.

Its what i will be getting, and SLI'ing in January when i have some more spendies.

Besides, isnt BD only just around the corner (next month?), and you were previously considering it as you were going to go for the 1090T and then upgrade to BD once released.

Long winded thread is tiring.

Zzzzzz
