Spiderman: Homecoming

Meh, love spider-man, the films the comics, the cartoons. Other than Venom and Carnage he's my favourite in the MU but that trailer does nothing for me. Same old spider-man over again. Probably another issue for me is I really thought the last guy had it nailed.

No doubt they will do 2 of these films then cast for Miles Morales.

Though I love Spider-Man, probably my favourite superhero, I think this trailer is a bit meh! Hope the movie is better.

I've never really been a fan of "kid spiderman", preferring the grown up Peter Parker version, but I guess they had to go a different way thanks to Sony running their version into the ground. At least this brings him into the MCU where Spiderman belongs.

me too, unfortunately they really are taking it back the roots of Spiderboy but Marvel generally know the material and should be able to pull it off.

Anyone suggesting Andrew 30 something Garfield, high school Spidey "nailed it" probably should forget anything they ever thought about spiderman. frankly in the few moments Tom Holland appears as parker/Spidey in the last cap movie, he is painfully obviously closer to both than any previous actor by a mile. You are welcome to hold an opinion that differs no matter how obviously nonsense that would be!

The scene is set more like ultimate Spider-Man than the previous movie renditions. So more confident Marvel will nail it than any Sony attempt.

My biggest concern is the director, Holland fills me with confidence and the MCU tie up is about time.

Still looks meh, Keaton might be great but the vulture is about as boring a villain as they come. My 8 year old will love it and I get 2 hours sleep.
