Spiders everywhere!

Just to scare some of you guys.

I remember hearing or reading that during ones life-time you swallow roughly 7 spiders in your sleep.

Not too sure on the validity of this statement though as I've no idea how such a study would be carried out.

I think I'll steer clear of North London then :)

I'm not really that bothered about spiders getting in my room but Crane Flies scare the hell out of me buzzing about and banging into things. :(

Usually have a couple of spiders up in the corners and I just let them be.

I only do that as a last resort if they are being a pain to catch. Its bad karma to kill what you cant create for no good reason but fear.

Anyone ever see that super evil channel four short cartoon about a spider that keeps on growing till its the size of the room

House spiders scare the crap outa me but i dont mind sitting starting at T's in a tank.

Last spider encounter i was sitting on the pc.....i see somehting running across my floor to my left, out of the corner of my eye like. I look and this thing about 3" wide was sitting........i **** a brick i must say,sat there with my feet up on the seat  it went under the tv unit and then another of the same type ran out from the same place.I was being ambushed. I did get one of them in a cup which i seloptaped up and launched out my window,a week later i poked it open to find no spider

I think my car bring them in as she sleeps in a hedge

Wasps ewww dont get me started on them buggers, disturbed a nest of them last year.

Edit: its funny when my cat tracks down spiders.....

We had a huntsman a few weeks ago in our house.
It must have laid eggs because now there are hundred of tiny little cute baby ones running around :D

Ya, I actually saw one of these:

Joking by the way. :p

These climbed on my window net when I lived in Saudi . They stared at me when I tried to go to sleep :p

Kept one as a pet and it would eat everything of the insect...legs ...wings :)

Havent seen one for a while, but the last encounter was not nice at all. Was sitting at the PC with the light turned off, playing the FEAR demo, when I suddenly saw a weird silhouette quickly falling down from the ceiling. The little bugger came down and landed right on my hand, then ran behind my speakers. :(

I fed him to my cat :)

This monster was on my wall and was swiftly dispatched. They are everywhere!

My god!

I have never ever seen a spider like that anywhere in the UK before! It looks as though it is some sort of cross breed. Anyone seen Arachnophobia? :D

This is the type of spider that had babys at my house :p
