SPL season 2012-13

Today's results

Aberdeen 2 - 0 Dundee
Celtic 0 - 2 Kilmarnock
Hearts 2 - 2 Ross County
Inverness C.T. 1 - 1 St. Johnstone
St. Mirren - 0 - 1 Dundee United

Great win for Kille to keep the league alive.

United did well against a team we usually don't do well against. Lucky penalty apparently but I'll take it !!

Dundee were really bad, worst team i've seen at Pittodrie in a while. If they don't get relegated it'll be a miracle. Exciting season in the making though at the other end of the table.

Dundee Utd are selling the Own Goal of the Season Match Ball on a well known multi-coloured auction site.

Tick tock. I see it's not even to do with the other outstanding 1.75 million owed. No wonder they approached Rangers and offered 100k off what's due to be paid next summer for Wallace if it's paid now.

Wonder how this will go.

I'd suspect not well is the short answer. Even if Hearts manage to stave off the initial winding up order there's still a further £1.75m tax bill in dispute. Although we've managed so far to avoid the winding up orders the financial management at the club seems to have been utterly horrendous. About the only "bright" spot in the whole sorry mess is that a failure to pay a tax bill can only attract an embargo on registration of players and that's already in place...

I think it comes from busting a gut over defeating Barcelona and the resulting mental and physical drain effecting them in the next game. There will be the usual argument that players should be able to cope but it just doesn't ring true.
