***SPOILERS AHOY!!!*** Football 1st-5th Jan

No more football until Wednesday now, it's a shame they can't stagger the 10 games through out the week evenings and weekend so we can watch them all :)

It's easier (and warmer) being an arm chair fan :p

Any Wigan fans realy think you should stick with martinez?

Watching the game, it's all long ball, you're crying out to hold the ball for more than 10 seconds.

Newcastle are just getting it back, playing it through midfield, and if they had decent guys up top you'd be 4-5 down.

Allways had a lot of faith in what martinez does, iv'e seen wigan play it well in the past, and swansea were electric, but realy half way through his 2nd season at the club and it's long ball, not good:(

That Cleverly seems a good player. Their best player by a mile, says something when a PL teams best player is a reserve/youth player from a bigger club.

Still want a second to calm the nerves. Getting told off by the lass for tv swearing, a suresign of stress :D

also there may be some (even slightly justifiable) stick for Tiotes physicality but as well as an impressively strong DM he is quality on the ball. Can change the pace of the game when he is on the ball. Still expect a top 5 club to pick him up in the summer :( wouldn't be surprised if it was Spurs.

It has, it could quite easily be a convenience - people tend to work in the cities :p

Was happily watching the Chelsea game on sky player and BOOM... recording cancelled on 68 minutes. Not a happy bunny although I just checked the final score and I am rather pleased.

As for Wigan, to be fair without N'Zogbia they are seriously awful.

Tiote, dirty bugger. Didn't think Barton's tackle was worthy of a red imo, he got the ball, a bit of a strong tackle, but yellow was about right. Did think his reputation was gonna get the red though.

We needed that! 3 points to get away from the mess near the bottom.

Lol Tiote. Have a word with yourself. He was slapped but made a right meal of it :p

Tiote is a **** as well. Half the Newcastle team is these days it seems, hope they go down again this year more than anyone else.
