***SPOILERS AHOY!!!*** Football 1st-5th Jan

And here it comes...

"We are very dejected, we though they were poor goals to concede. In the second half the players gave it their best shot, we had plenty of the ball. Who knows, if Steven's penalty had gone in we could have salvaged something from the game. We are very frustrated and disappointed for the fans. We had a very large travelling contingent and I know they were dejected at the end. [But] All I can say to the fans is that if they came into the dressing room they would see people similarly dejected."

Houllier needs to go & now to be honest. We've played rubbish ever since he's been in charge. Mcdonald was doing better than that useless joke of a manager.

IIRC he's only actually won 2 of his league games in charge, cant see him lasting the season if you carry on in that kind of form

Mancini should be fired as City want to be the bestest team in the world, Hughes went to Arsenal and Utd, put on a show and TRIED TO RUDDY WIN the games, Mancini is a big girl, nothing more or less, he's a VERY poor mans Mourinho and he should be embarassed after several games he's set up like old school Bolton parking the bus.

Think City were attrocious and selfish play, poor decisions and wrong starting team and ridiculous positions he stuck certain players in cost us what really should have been a hammering of the team above us in the league.

4 points behind Utd and they have a game in hand, and they've been playing utterly rubbish yet still extending their lead over us.

THe league this year is ridiculous, insane, entertaining but mostly from the lack of quality and closeness of the league rather than any team actually being great this year.
Never commented on your posts before but jesus you talk rubbish. Mancini has us playing like Bolton? so the 8 goals in the 3 games prior is like Bolton?Wrong starting team? there was one player who should have started that didnt so stop talking nonense. If utterly rubbish football gets us 2nd place with 22 games played then i hope it continues.

What has anything you said got to do with anything I said.

Did I say anywhere that you played like Bolton in your last 3 games, no, so why bring it up, you came and parked the bus. THe simple fact is you have by FAR the most expensive squad in the league, with more strikers than anyone else, and with owners who want to be THE BEST TEAM IN THE WORLD.

Sorry but even if you lose City should be going to Arsenal and Utd and trying to win, thats what winners do. When was the last time you saw Barcelona go and park the bus against a difficult opponent? Sure Inter did it, once, and fluked a win, it happens, long term it doesn't work, doesn't work for Real Madrid.

City played pathetically today, as for the starting team I (think) I clearly said WENGER played the wrong team so get over yourself. RVP has been completely rubbish since back from injury and should never have started, Theo doesn't need explaining he's just crap.

Like I said under Hughes City went to UTd and tried to beat them, it was fantastic, City looked fantastic, they were insanely unlucky not to get at least a point and they played like a team of winners. Personally, if I was a billionaire and went and spent hundreds and hundreds of millions on a team, I'd not expect them to EVER go out and park the bus like they did today.

All very well and good, but quite simply, you don't get points for trying. We're playing far better football under Mancini than under Hughes. You would possibly notice this if you were a City fan (Edit: But then given your reactions to Arsenal games, probably not :D).. RE: Hughes, Fulham?

God why are MOTD starting with the Arsenal/City game? Getting the worst game of the week out of the way first? :p

Blackpool, Wolves & West Brom as far as I can remember. He's been useless & he needs to go now.

I don't even want to see what frenchie or oldman he's going to bring in this transfer window if he gets anyone at all.

WOW, Gerrard's pen was a right spanner! :D

Man U, Blackpool and us... hmm 1 point from Blackpool is all I can see them getting to be honest. :D
