***SPOILERS AHOY!!***Football 26th-29th Dec 2010

Supporting Spurs is hazardous to your health. :D

My heart is going like the clappers. Drinking beer to calm me down, but just not working.

Great result though, Spurs of a couple years ago would never of got a result like that away with 10 men, and just 1-0 up. We have come a long way since then.

He will try to give Villa a penalty if possible.

You mean just like he DIDN'T give us one when he should have after about 8 minutes?

Defoe gets sent off and you're on the ref's case all game, claiming he's on our side. Harsh red card yes, but he was poor in general. Wasn't biased towards us.

We're in deep dog turd. Houllier's just not got a clue how we work :(

Just watching the Newcastle game back. We certainly didn't look like a team who deserved to be 3-1 down. Just some silly mistakes cost us.

But my god I have never seen such a blatant example of the ref favouring the bigger club. He could only have been more blatant if he pulled on a blue top. Every other attack was a blatant foul on Caroll which the ref ignored time and again. Embarassingly biased performance.

Edit: could my overuse of the word blatant be any more blatant :p

About 4 corner/goal kick decisions wrongly went Villa's way, red card was wrong, Kaboul goal wrongly disallowed, Hutton's yellow card was baffling, not giving Bale advantage when he was away in the second half... I can kind of see where he's coming from!

The Heskey penalty claim was about the only decision he got right all afternoon.

Some great performances from Spurs, Dawson, Benny, VdV and Sgt.Wilson has found his feet again, such a massive player for us. Then there's Modric, that pass to pick out Bale to setup the 2nd goal was sublime, really good team to watch at the moment. With so many good players on form it's not as simple as "stop Bale" or "stop VdV" as we've still got Lennon, Defoe, Modric & Co. Good times :)

Well United were really good for the first hour last night. Got no problems with us easing off after 60mins either considering the game on Tuesday. Good performances from everyone, I'm particularly pleased for Anderson and Berbatov. It's time they both started to show what they can do.

Oh and I see Cleverly knocked another one in! He's looking a player. I hope we leave him at Wigan for the rest of the season to get the game time in.
