***SPOILERS AHOY!!***Football 26th-29th Dec 2010

a 1-1 draw tonite will put manu firmly in the driving seat :)

and a win on Tuesday and we are laughing. A win for Arsenal tonight to sink Chelsea deeper into despair would also be nice to witness but a draw is the best result a Man U fan should look for.

Really hope the title comes down to Man C and Man U just to change things from the usual title race.

Big game for Chelsea tonight, simply a must win. Bosingwa, Lampard and Essien all fit so no excuses.

Line up should be as follows

Cech

A.Cole
Terry
Ivanovic
Bosingwa

Mikel
Essien
Lampard
Malouda

Drogba
Anelka

Chelsea aren't afraid of Arsenal which is why I've gone for a 4-4-2 formation instead of 4-5-1. Although dropping Anelka for an additional man in midfield wouldn't be a disaster considering his recent form.

Chelsea's recent form against Arsenal? W-W-W-W-W. Won't be making a prediction this time round, wouldn't want to risk being mocked after the game by someone with superior intelligence.

:)

You can hope but it's not going to happen.

Didn't see the Spurs game but great wins for both United and themselves yesterday.

Whilst you never want to dismiss creating chances, United might again feel they are showing a bit of complacency considering they really should have racked up a bigger tally against Sunderland.

Berbatov at times was literally unstoppable, as Phil Bardsley found out. The two Brazilians Rafael and Anderson both are becoming really solid performers for United now. And most of team look bang on form.

Only Rooney, unfortunately is still a bit 'meh' for me.

Won't see the Arsenal/Chelsea game tonight but I will hope to see either a draw or an Arsenal win when I check the result. :D

Whoever loses today will be quite far behind Man Utd, should be a good game as both teams will be dreading losing

Just watching the Newcastle game back. We certainly didn't look like a team who deserved to be 3-1 down. Just some silly mistakes cost us.

But my god I have never seen such a blatant example of the ref favouring the bigger club. He could only have been more blatant if he pulled on a blue top. Every other attack was a blatant foul on Caroll which the ref ignored time and again. Embarassingly biased performance.

Edit: could my overuse of the word blatant be any more blatant :p

I don't think that's really fair. Your chances were basically hoofing the ball to Caroll, who was pretty much in Lescott or Vinnys pocket for the most part. I didn't think your game plan deserved a win, not to mention Nolan quite clearly obstructing Joe Hart on his line for your goal. If you think he was favouring did you see some of the yellows he handed out? He basically gave Balotelli a yellow because it's just what EPL refs seem to think is the done thing now, cause or not  A single yellow might not seem so bad, but at the rate people seem to be throwing them at us we've already had a couple of players our for getting 5 yellows.

We were two nil up, and with the fixture list coming up we obviously weren't going to run our butts off with that lead. After you scored we went and got another for good measure. I don't think if we hadn't got two goals so early on we would have sit back and let you play for so much of the match.

Just reading that Redkapp is still banging on about spurs being title contenders.

Realy Harry? Seven points off the leaders having played a game more?

In what league does that make you genuine title contenders?

Even for the real genuine challengers, thats a tall order.

Slaughtered by a Chelsea team in the form they're in at the moment.. Optimism aside just how bad do you think your team are?
When it comes to Chelsea v Arsenal form is irrelevant, they've beaten us the last 5 outings or so now, even the last time we played them you could see that we didn't play that badly, we didn't take our chances but a deft Drogba finish and an awesome free kick was all that seperated the teams. I'm not saying we will get hammered, but Chelsea always pull something out of the bag against us.

He keeps mentioning it because the media keep bringing it up. He has also said whats the point in playing if you dont believe you can win it.

He isnt going to turn around and tell the players they have no chance.

''But we are massive outsiders - 33-1 or whatever - and that's about right I suppose.
I keep saying it's open this season, and it's not impossible. You have got to believe you can achieve something.''

We're going to get slaughtered.

Oh, what's that? Optimism? No thanks, not for me.

Ditto 2.

The odd thing is, the UTD game revealed an improvement from us.... and we were not being utterly bum rushed.

I can see it being an identical match to that, and/or Stamford Bridge earlier this year.

An early sort of out of place goal, lots of pressure by us and then a counter attacked winner from Chelsea.

Agree. Regardless of form Chelsea always seem to pull one over on us. The same goes for Drogba, he always seems to be able to score against us too.

3-1 Chelsea.
