** spoilers ** English League Football [20th - 22nd November 2010]

Would love to see him in the EPL at some point. I can't really stand watching Spanish football for some reason.

Yep hes possibly the most complete player on the planet as well..defensively hes not too bad as ive seen him make a few tackles here and there...i watch a lot of Barca matches and its always a joy to see Messi play even when he isnt having a great game...like i said he makes things happen.

Sadly that wont happen as hes more or less tied to Barca for at least 10 yrs:(...plus i dont think anyone in the EPL can buy him out...something like £250mill for his release clause:eek:

Perhaps when hes more or less done with his career we might see him in the EPL but i cant see it happening....although i secretly wish Arsenal would break the bank and sign him:p

The only team who would consider spending enough money to get him are Citeh, and I highly doubt he'd go there. Chelsea could technically afford him but Abramovich would never spend that much on him.

I remember a few years back Henry getting 32 goals and 24 assists, but don't forget that Henry was an out and out striker who liked to get back sometimes.

Messi's a forward, it's Villa who's up front as a striker.

Yep at the moment it could only be City but they have a better chance of winning the lottery than getting Messi...Messi doesnt need the money as hes on something crazy like £250k a week as it is plus i guess he likes winning things lol. Chelsea too as well could possibly afford him but then they go further into debt if they do.
