***SPOILERS!!*** Football 29 Jan -3rd Feb 2011

i believe it equals their record which they set when they won the treble in 1999.

corrrect - I know its a (equal) club record, was wondering about other clubs :)

(apart from the obvious Arsenal record) - always a bit more deceptive being split over two seperate seasons (the current run, I know the 98/99 record was in the same season)

edit - I REALLY wish Utd wouldnt do the "do a decent /v.decent first half, and then struggle in 2nd half) - credit to AV for making it a match , but Utd should have come out and ripped them apart

Was it a handball? He just got the ball to Rooney for that strike, I was just shocked that the play went to O'Shea and then....forwards.

Yea it was a handball. The ref was **** all game; missed the Nani penaly and should have booked a few players for poor challenges but let them go.

I think you're talking about different incidents.

Brad Friedel is a great keeper, how he's never played for a big club is beyond me.

Well funnily for all the exasperation at none of the big clubs being on Sky, sounds like Wigan and West Brom provided the most entertaining match tonight!

Overall pretty happy with the nights results, Chelsea holding up Sunderland is useful for us, beat stoke tomorrow and we will be 2 points behind 6th (3 behind spurs in 5th if their result goes favourably).

By the way, if Everton are selling anybody they have at the moment, I wouldn't complain about us having Fellaini off them in the summer. He bossed all three of our midget middlemen at once for periods tonight.

NEVER count on Sunderland or Everton to hold onto points - except against the team you support!!!

(Especially Everton)

Arsenal very rarely beat Everton at home
Sunderland have only lost like 1 game at home all season

Typical though that both capitulate

Everton unlucky not to get a draw tonight, blackpool on saturday! must win that for sure! thought we deserved a win against chelsea at the weekend... It's just not happening atm!

I've always liked Fellani, played really well that season he joined then tapered off a bit, would love him at MU but only so I could sport a comedy afro.

Don't think I've ever seen that before

It's funny because you actually would! :D

Fellaini can be a real handful but too often doesn't show up and is a dirty ****.
