Its not about seeing it wrong, both of them together interpreted the rule incorrectly.
If you are in an offside position and gain an advantage from being there, it doesn't matter if it hits an Arsenal player, its still offside. Thing is that delay before the restart, they were obviously talking it over, they obviously saw he was offside and decided the touch off Kos made him onside. Two professional officials in a top level game don't know the offside rule.
Two sky sports people essentially got fired over suggesting a female lines-person I guess, wouldn't know the offside rule, yet these two clearly don't.
Poor performance throughout by most of the team, Theo, jesus christ, how many times can he pass backwards rather than forwards, or fail to pass to anyone whatsoever, woeful from him.
Song, Diaby, Sagna, Wilshire didn't come close to winning the battle with Fellani, Song/Diaby should have been paired up to Fellani, neither came close to bettering him. Rosicky who hasn't scored in 40 games, was useless, again. THe supposedly poor Arshavin came on and made a joke of Rosicky/Theo starting. Bendtner came on, we played a semi 4-4-2 for about 10 minutes, scored two goals, then refused to attack allowing Everton to pressure us.
Sure no one mentioned but it was a great run from Bendtner in the box, across the box, dragged two big defenders with him and left a huge gap for Koscielny to score a great header. Thats the 3rd or 4th goal from a corner/freekick thats been scored due to powerful runs in the box by Bendtner while usually we don't look a threat from set pieces at all.
When on earth will RVP be taken off freekick duty, he hits the wall so often its a joke.
