***SPOILERS!!*** Football 29 Jan -3rd Feb 2011

I have no idea what Fergie is thinking

In case you haven't noticed, he hasn't got a ******* clue what to do away from home, he's showed it all season :( He just seems to guess a lineup and formation at random. The players don't look like they're bothered and the front two have no service at all. Our only width is from the inexperienced Fabio and the plain **** O'Shea.

Unfortunetly we cant drag the useless Evans off, because he hasnt brought any other defenders along, so it doesnt matter how many United score (if at all) all southampton have to do is fire it in near Evans and they are straight in.

Which is pretty much all they did there.

clinical finish. i think owens united days are numbered, just what does he do on the pitch these days? thought this would've been a good time for rooney to bag a goal.

Lucky to get the bounce, but some finish.

I'll still plump for an eventual United victory after they finally shift into third maybe in the last 20 minutes.

I'd love to see Saints win this but I also kinda wanted to go out tonight, won't be worth the hassle though if they do :p

of course he doesnt, the most successful manager in english football has no clue what hes doing.

How else do you explain our pathetic away performances against nearly every team this season? I'm not saying it's just his fault but come on he has been tactically questionable many times this season. Blackpool being the most recent one.

Who is also 70 years old and not half the manager he was, who also at any point in his career was on his top form with a good assistant manager who questioned his tactics.

Ferguson of 10-15 years ago would beat ferguson now no matter what players he had at his disposal.

These past couple of years, especially since Queroz left, have seen a marked decline in the quality of football United play.

Time catches up with us all, we dont remain at a constant level physically, emotionally or mentally, the old fergie would have blasted this shower of **** into the stratosphere after the first ten minutes for vomiting up "football" of this standard.

Bit of hostility towards Ferguson, he's just rotating his team to keep his best players fit, every manager in the league does it. It's very difficult to stick a team of 11 back up players out and get them playing well, especially when a few of them aren't really up to scratch.

because the players are never to be blamed always the manger fault obviously

This isn't a team of 11 back up players though.

And we're playing a LEAGUE 1 TEAM. God almighty we'd struggle to beat a conference team playing like this.

There's hardly anybody from the first XI playing, they're pretty much all second choice

One could argue that one of the biggest reasons you're top of the league is due to how well your defence have done, take that unit out and I think it exposes a few weaknesses in your squad

Scholes, Anderson, Hernandez have all played a lot this season. The others have all started multiple games this season except for Owen (injury), Lindegaard (debut), Obertan (reserve) and Fabio (Evra).

Using weak team as an excuse is pathetic, these are all players who have played for the first team this year, with the exception of Lindegaard.
