The foul on Rooney by Ivanovic was lucky to not be another yellow card, he stepped on his ankle. Essien was fortunate too towards the end, pulling Park back again, but wasn't as obvious as the first one.

Good half by Utd, lol @ Ancelotti/Luiz though.

The only stand out incident I can think of is Neville not being sent off earlier in the season and tbh I think a lot of United fans wanted him off as well.

Anybody think Ancelotti has already been sacked? He looked lifeless in the dugout and the way he walked to the dressing rooms at HT was like a dead man walking.

Its amazing what they can do when they put their minds to it.

Nice to see Park making amends for his pathetic performance last week, he is playing like he still has Fergies boot wedged up his arse.

Lets hope they carry it on in the second half.

Looking in total control here, send Berbs and Nani on around the 60th minute to give them some more trouble and should hopefully be job done.

Why the eagerness to get players sent off. You shouldn't be sent off for 3 fouls in a half, red cards should be reserved for serious fouls not silly ankle tapping. And players looking to get players booked should be booked themselves.

Vidic should have been sent off last weekend, but it still made no diff to result ( yet Chelsea gain 3 points for two non goals the day before)

That's just as ridiculous as when somebody says Utd get all the decisions in their favour.

Utd (like any team) have had plenty go for and against them.

Chelsea haven't done their homework at all for this game. Bringing the ball out of defence and playing a high line is suicide against a quick counter attacking side like United

No not really, he is under a lot of pressure from the media as of late and at Chelsea to perform.

I think anyone in his position at half time would be down beat about coming back.

Need to keep pace on, Chelsea are in a position now where Terry isnt moving well, sideshow bob is having a mare and Ivanovic will be sent off the next tackle he gets wrong.
They have Essien on a yellow as well, they should keep running at them as I can see Chelsea having 2 sent off here the way things are going.

completely silly imo to not punish repeated fouls by the same players, especially when it looks so obviousely like part of the game plan, rather than by accident

By that I meant an incident of downright bias. The Vidic call last weekend was simply missed by the officials (and nearly everyone)

The Neville incident was seen and he wasn't sent off because of bias.

Same as with Ivanovic just now.
