Finally got to the space stage yesterday, just been having way too much fun in the creature stage.

I still can't see what everybody is moaning about, I'm having a blast.

Kinda bored of the space stage, everytime i go to mess around terraforming a planet and putting different species on it, i get attacked or theres some kind of distaster, wish they would just fo for 10mins and leave me alone to make a town in peace!

Creatures if attacking you bounce of your spikes. So make a fish thing with spikes all round and then they find it hard to attack.

the reason they didn't do more of heh positioning thing is it would require some uber uber programming.

When I realised that my awesome tank thing didnt fire from its cannons I was disappointed, but at the same time considering the editors complexity already I understood. It leaves some interesting thoughts for SPORE2 though.

Isn't that only present in the pirated version? I'm sure someone posted that the crack causes that? Or is that rubbish? I DUNNO!

I've just logged in with FRAPs on and the legit version is also capped at 30 fps too. No idea why they'd do such a thing!

Am I the only one that thinks Spore is crap? You fly through the stages way too fast, you design all your buildings etc then you move onto the next stage and have to re-design everything. Just a big time waste.

No you're not, everyone seems to hate it for the same daft reasons.

P.S. Stop rushing and only seeing the initial 5% of each stage, you don't even have to continue to the next stage if you don't want to and there's so much to explore (particularly in the creature and space stages). I quite literally spent the entire day on the creature stage yesterday.

OMG... i cannot believe how different the Spore of today is. That one in 2005 looked truly revolutionary.. it's like a completely different game. Very sad...
