I dunno if I enjoyed it as much as the first. Probs because the mental setting wasn't new any more I guess.
 
I echo a lot of the comments ITT, I actually enjoyed it and glad I went ahead and watched it after the initial wave of negative comments, not just on here but others IRL as well.

001 dude was always going to end up in the game I felt. Similarly to season 1.

I like how they got him to gain the trust, even though right of the bat he was shown to be ruthless and the bit where he killed the guy in the room but his mate just didn’t say anything to Seong Gi-hun even though he was going to.

It’s strange though because he killed a **** ton of people himself that are working for him and they didn’t bother. There was times when he looked up at the camera and the square guy clocked him when he looked at him as well so everyone of the circle/triangle/square people must know him? Or that just the square people as they are a higher rank.

Think I may rewatch s1

I did exactly this after watching S2, works weirdly well to watch it backwards.
 
Didn't watch this during all the initial hype when season 1 came out.

Just watched all episodes over the last few months, and boy am I glad I did. What a show!

Interesting, pretty original, thought provoking and tense.

Genuinely forgot this was released (now yesterday) till I saw it briefy advertised in the morning when on Google looking for a new washer!

6 episodes , watched in one sitting.
I did prefer season 2 over it, but it was something to behold when....stuff happens and oh does it go hard! and fairly satisfied. No spoilers yet!

Season 1 : 10/10 - amazing
Season 2: 910 - it lost the shock value but still very entertaining
Season 3: 8/10 - solid pick up from s2 with lots of payoff.

They are not planning a season 4 from what I read so this is "the end"

Try to stay away from spoiler's as best you can with this as you will ruin it.

I don't think there is much they can do to evolve the series. Maybe take 10 years to come up with the most insane death game ideas and do a movie perhaps, otherwise its sort of done and dusted to death.
