Super excited about DLSS4 yes, not MFG, I don't really care for MFG lol as noted, I lock all games up to 120fps. DLSS4 is coming to all RTX cards so will see an fps boost and quality boost.

You are a gift that keeps on giving. Soon you will have a 5090 or another gpu that does MFG and sing it's praises. When I say what happened to not caring about it, you will say but back then there was not enough info bla bla bla :cry:

120fps locked in a base in this game says it would be illogical to upgrade, plus given that this image quality will only get higher and any latency get lower once DLSS4 is out, even less of a reason to upgrade :cry:

I think being on on Intel 4770K for around 7 years before upgrading is influencing me wanting to get more out of my 5900X.

Crazy how it went. Went from being one of the best CPU's to fall way behind due to 3DCache.

I feel if I wait for AM6 we will be on either Zen 6 or 7. By then I would like to see double the performance per core over my 5900K.

I feel ya, I have a 5800x then the 3DCache chips came out and changed the landscape it was and still is frustrating :p
 
Not sure if this has been asked before, but how do you stop getting radiation poisoning from artifacts? I have asuit with fairly good protection but I still can only have one installed and have to use the vodka or injections to temp heal from it.

Check the upgrade options on the artifact slots for the suit at the technician, if it has the option to upgrade a slot to a lead container then those will protect you from the radiation.

Liquid Rock or Weird water (found in Zaton region) will sort you out there. There is a mod also on Nexus to stop the drunk effect from the Weird water.

By also equipping artifacts that give radiation protection. For instance, I'll have 4 artifact slots, typically I equip 2 artifacts that grant some sort of buff plus deal radiation also, then the other 2 slots I will have artifacts that grant radiation protection only in order to balance it out.

Lead pocket upgrade (diamond exosuit has 4, costs a stack to fully upgrade it, but turns you into a tank) or artefacts that negate the effects.

Thanks. I found a bottle thingy on a strange area after dark which also does the trick. I really not very far in, even though I have a lot of hours. I am trying to explore as much as I can and also the missus complains as does the cat when I don't pay them attention. Being a bit rubbish at games doesn't help as well.

After the last major patch I've had two lock-ups on shader cache build, never had one before.

Also introduced stick drift to the left AND right, albeit with a pad that has a little drift to the right, but it worked fine before the patch, and it works with other games.

So yeh, hoping the next patch cones along with a few fixes.
