Exactly what I've done. Tempted to do some more upgrades first and maybe try different weapons.

I'm taking my time with this game. I'm only on the mission where you have to place the thingys to create some sort of field and need a special suit to do so. I got this by doing some stash hunts, now I'm clearing as many stashes as I can and taking on side missions. I want to get my moneys worth and make it last as long as possible as I do really enjoy it.

I'm trying to determine if its worth upgrading to a 9800x3d. I can see a lot of the new games announced such as the new Doom has high CPU requirements but usually those spec sheets are more marketing plus in my mind I still feel like the 5800x3d is still a very capable cpu.

Those Chimeras are a joke, i was caught out by one also. Best to hide in the shack nearby (If im right about your location) plenty of grenades and 12x70 shells with an SPSF-14 does the trick.

Only way to play, IMO.

Tried it, but similar to FF7 Intergrade, NPC dialogue isn't subbed from Japanese to English, and I didn't like missing out on it, so changed both back to English voice.

Fair play, but Ghost of Tsushima had excellent English-speaking voice actors in my opinion. At least they sounded authentic. The mish-mash of various accents in STALKER2 is jarring to say the least.

I could go out tomorrow and round up enough Ukrainian, Polish, Bulgarian etc English-speakers to do a better job.

I tried Ukrainian language with English subs and hated it.
I don't wanna be constantly reading sub-titles to enjoy the game and whilst it could be better, the English dialog is still better than in a lot of games
