Stalker 2

Visually I think it looks decent, not mind blowing, but good enough to do the job. I think it's more the inventory/UI that looks a little basic.

As mentioned they seem to have really nailed the lighting/colour grading that the previous titles had, seeing some familiar locations has really helped me place it with those games now rather than something that looked a little Fallout 4ish at times.

These games were all about the atmosphere and it looks like they're on the right track, let's just hope it isn't as bug riddled as the old games on release :D

CDkeys pre-order price is pretty reasonable at this point too.

I should really finish the first trilogy, completed SoC and 90% of Clear sky, can't remember why I stopped playing really, got them all on my GOG account (and on Steam I think!).

Some of the most atmospheric games I played (for the time at least, not sure how they'll hold up today...)

£27.99 + Quidco is rather compelling really.
That's what I'm thinking. Surely it won't get any cheaper at release... just seems strange why it is so cheap. Even if it launches as a horrendous mess, I'm sure it will come good in time, especially if it is as mod-able as the previous ones (which I love)

I am starting to get a bit more hyped for this now. Really need a good open world FPS in my life right now and theres no better world to explore than the zone. Really hope its actually good. From some of the latest game footage it does look like they have remained faithful to the originals and put a ton of detail into everything.
