Stalker 2

Still not convinced by it, graphics still long way off initial trailer and most worryingly the AI still looks crap and unchallenging. Just doesn’t look very polished to me but then neither was the original game on release.

I also get huge dumbed down for console/mainstream vibes
From what I've read the AI was on the dumbest level for the trailer for cinematic purposes.

Dammit. Was looking forward to playing this while off work. As long as the delay equals a better game....

Yeah while disappointing, it seems rare these days that games are actually delayed and not just rushed to release, resulting in buggy and incomplete games!

Truly do hope the hype is worth it!

I’d rather they delay for improvements. After the years we’ve been waiting for this, what’s an extra few months. Just hoping it releases this year and isn’t delayed again

Another video dropped. Feels like it was announced forever ago, I almost forgot it was coming to game pass.

I never finished the first STALKER because at the time my laptop wasn't quite powerful enough to play it but will definitely be putting my gaming pc to use on this one :)

The initial UE5 videos released for this showed a stuttering mess and visually uninspiring but these latest videos show a fully polished game and the performance looks like a perfectly smooth 60fps minimum. If that translates into the actual gameplay with everything else going on, and the devs deep dive above they say the zone is in 20 areas, each area could be a game in itself, and that the entire zone is seamless - Sounds like they are leveraging Nanite to its fullest and maybe even some type of DirectStorage/RTXIO for the seamless loading maybe.

It doesn't look that impressive visually to me. The engine looks dated. Even more so when you compare it to Wukong.

Artistically its on point and the graphics now look a little closer to the original trailer, that said it does look a little dated. It looks to be one of those games that looks good in certain lighting conditions and not so great in others, some of the textures are pretty poor as well but I'm nitpicking.
