Stalker 2

As much as I love the Stalker series, I'm holding off to see what the reviews are like.

Having said that, I probably will eventually buy the Deluxe or Ultimate edition.
It's very rare indeed that I do that, though. Maybe it's an age thing, but I just find it hard to justify that amount for a game.
I'm sure I will get my monies worth out of it, especially when we factor in the mouth watering mods that no doubt will spawn over time.

I'm well leery now of pre-ordering anything.

Tempted by MSFS 2024 though...not sure if that includes any pre-order bonuses.
 
Just pre-ordered the ultimate edition on CDKeys for £51.99, I hope they've managed to retain what made the original so great, by the limited hands on reviews I've seen so far it looks promising.

I'm willing to accept bugs and balance issues Day 1 as long as they roll out some fixes quickly :)

As long as they capture the feeling of the zone like the first games, and it hasn't been dumbed down for consoles, that's what will be a deal breaker for me.

Still haven't pre-ordered, I really want to see some reviews first, been burned too many times in the last few years with pre-orders :(

I pre-ordered because it's really cheap on cdkeys lol. I will probably buy the expansions in a way that benefits the devs + studio more though.

The STALKER modding community is one of the better ones and the devs have always been helpful in that regard. I'm sure the game will mature nicely.

Anyone that preordered from CDkeys have an acknowledgment email yet? Used to instant responses and had nothing in 24 hours. I know the key won’t come until release day.

Checked all my other email addresses and found it!

Same, in my mind preordering a digital product is pointless... but I understand adults can be excited about some things too.
 
Won't be preordering as its something gamers shouldnt support for a digital product.(Do people not learn their lesson?) But will pick up week one if game reviews well.
 
Each to their own if they want to preorder, preloading is still useful plus there are some games I know I’ll definitely play regardless. This isn’t one though. Hoping it’s good.

The game is in your orders list with get key button waiting in cdkeys site anyways even without the email so all good.
