Stalker 2

I'll pick it up at some point. Maybe I have rose tinted memories of the prior games but doesn't seem to bring much new to the table. Even graphically, wildlife seems to move the same way which seems odd now. Shrubs/trees don't even move. Lots of edged/square shapes (buildings, railings etc). Maybe this is intentional to give the environment a familiar feel.
Initial impression from skimming a few youtube videos.
EDIT:I just skimmed a call of Pripyat video and it is a case of remembering the old games as being graphically better than they were. Will wait a few months anyway and see what others think of the new game

Whats up with the pre-install on game pass pc?
It says pre-install then says completed after5 seconds, click play and says not released lol why have a pre install button then.

I was super hyped on Doom 2016 and it didn't disappoint one bit, i pre ordered too, but it was the last game i pre ordered. Resi 2 remake i waited out till reviews and picked up late, yet again an absolute banger. I'm playing C&C remake atm and again, picked up late, but it's good.

Out of all the games i've followed and not bought in the past years due to poor reviews, this one isn't giving me that feeling. I've not watched any new gameplay as am positive it will deliver. I'm mostly waiting as in no rush to dive in due to time.

Wow, I hadn't even opened my Xbox Gamepass in so long, got fed up with the amount of rubbish Indie games on it rather than bangers. Can't believe Stalker 2 is on GP.

If I wasn't disgusted with preorder scams and previews lately i'd buy it right now ;)

How can you get scammed? Unless CDKeys are about to go out of business, you buy from them and if it turns out to be a turd you get a redund.

That said i hear the price shot up a CDKeys and no londer £25 :D

But how can we trust that channel, how do we know they haven't been paid to say that etc etc.

I'm with you on that, also I think games are generally low imagination and heavily rely on jump scares.
