Stalker 2

I've not had too many crashes so far (now 7 after 50+ hours of gameplay), though I've heard that MSI Afterburner can cause instability? I think I will try running a different FPS monitoring software.

Zero crashes here and running AB.

Does anyone go out there way to find and use the artifacts? I feel like the ones ive picked up along the way have been pretty mediocre and I just sell them now. Never been in a situation yet where I'm like oh a certain buff here would be useful.

Yes definitely. Some of the rarer artifacts are OP especially the Arch Artifacts and really effect how you can play the game. The majority of the obvious ones you find in the wild/part of quests are pretty lame.

I've found around 7 so far, but I think most, if not all, of them are lower tier artifacts.
I do, however, find the ones that reduce radiation/improve endurance, although weak, to be quite helpful.
I haven't sold them yet, as I don't know if I'm going to need them going forward.

No not really. The rubbish ones that I do find just fund my repairs :D

Seriously you guys need to look into the "arch artifacts" a series of Legendary altered items with some very powerful benefits.
Also Compass and Hypercube is amazing if you have leadlined pockets.

It’s not even the legendary artefacts that just make a difference. Some of medium ones for weight like urchin are very good. A suit with lead lined pocket mods will let you add 2 or 3 of these and your total carry weight goes up 6kg - 9kg.

Oh and it’s only artifact (with an I) if you are American ;)

Completed 1st playthrough. Will wait a while for bug fixes to maybe replay it for different ending. Bit of a run simulator, but overall wasn't a bad game.

Does the controller support work now on PC? Tried it a while ago and it just didn't work, which is strange because there is an Xbox version, so I assumed controller support would be fine...

Yeh, the first patch fixed it.

Nearing close to xmas holidays and the temptation to buy Stalker 2. Needing a CPU upgrade on AM4 which seems perfectly fine, upgrading from rx6600, not so. Annoying that this is a little demanding. £450+ to play one game, yeah but no. Did it once, game sucked
