Star Trek: Enterprise

Agree fully. Don't understand how people liked DS9 so much!

I used to think it was a pile of **** as well but after watching a couple of episodes it stated to get good, especially when the Defiant came about.

Never realy watched Enterprise though as the episode or two I saw didn't really captivate me (and it was on at the wrong time).

I agree with those who think Enterprise was underrated.

DS9 had the best episodes from any of the franchise. Those featuring Garak. It also had some of the worse episodes in the franchise. Stll can't decide if Avery Brooks could act or not :D

I think the trek franchise as a whole has had some pretty decent acting tbh. Patrick Stewart will usually be up there with the best because of the amount of Shakespeare that was injected into TNG. Brent Spiner (Data) also had a wide range of acting skills, that is when he was given the opportunity to break character from the norm.

Avery Brooks, Kate Mulgrew and Scott Bakula were all decent enough in the captains seat, but people like Armin Shimerman (Quark) & Andrew J Robinson (Garak) really made those secondary characters come alive, and they're some of the most memorable bits of the entire franchise.

Agreed. I also thought Worf was a great character, I loved following his story through TNG and followed on in DS9, great stuff.

I liked ST: Enterprise from start to finish. Although T-Pol helped a lot on the not so good episodes.

I have just ordered the first season of Star Trek: Enterprise. Please reassure me this was not an error.

You're either A: A Star Trek fan in which case you do not need to ask this or B a newcomer to Star Trek in which case you should have gone for The Next Generation or The Original Series (though the latter can be a bit harder for new comers since it's a bit dated now at this stage).

For me I'm a fan so inevitably bought Enterprise (though the producers tried to distance it from Star Trek, most obviously by not including the moniker "Star Trek" in the titles until season 3) even though I found the first two seasons quite poor initially.

Upon watching them a second time I found that the first two season weren't as bad as I remembered (even though there is the odd unforgivable such as "Unexpected" and Archer's Speech wobble annoyance had started to set in by the end of season 1) and season 3 wasn't as good as I remembered though Season 4 remained about the same.

Same, Russell Watson is awesome

A small, cute and furry Tribble explodes every time that damn tune is played and let's not mention the unspeakableness of the remix :/

I was a fan of Enterprise, enjoyed Season 3 but wasn't really a fan of Season 4. Didn't like the costumes on the genetically modified humans, looked very ghey.

Im not sure what has happened recently but Virgin Media killed Channel 1. I think Sky bought them out or something... whatever its not good for random Star Trek viewing.

Pretty much all day at weekends they had either TNG or Voyager on.

If i had to rank them in order it would be TNG, DS9, Enterprise, Voyager.

Enterprise was pretty good towars the end, except when space nazis appeared, which they frequently seem to in all Star treks... voyager had them aswell, always makes me laugh.

Babylon 5 though is the ultimate show the only thing that compares to it was the later of series of DS9 for epic space battles.

Definitely need to put Bab5 back on TV or even on demand from series 2 (series 1 is just a hotch potch of ideas they don't have a clue where they are going and most of it is just face palm cringe worthy.
