WTH is with this server full crap!

I've played loads of MMO's before and never not been able to play because the servers are full! :mad:

Someone please tell me this is a temp thing which won't happen after official launch!?!?

I am disappoint! :(
 
they were supposed to be sorting new servers out during the open beta , NOT 3 days before game launch , maybe blizzard will lend them the WOW servers hahaha

come on STO sort it out ... a queueing system FFS .. that will be pretty on 02/02/2010 ... you are 30,323 out of 52,0076

well i started @ 493 in the queue and in 8 minutes im down to 488 .. at this rate it might log me in around 4am ... if i was gonna stay up all night ... which i am not :o

EDIT - it must have got embarrassing cos now they give my queue number but dont say how many are after me :O
 
Will add everyone who posted above when I get back in. Long load times and "server not responding" at the moment. Even more annoying, I was on the Briar Patch mission and got stuck 3 times using the sniper rifle! Hasn't bee a good evening - really hope they get their new servers soon, because this is crazy.

Plus, I dont want to exit just to queue!
 
Was in the middle of a battle and then CTD.

Stuck at "Retrieving list of characters", how can you tell if you're in the queue?

EDIT: Moved on to "Retrieving maps" now

This is the most ridiculous thing I've seen yet. I'd rather the server be down frankly. At least then I'd know it'd be back up soon and I could play.
I've been 888 for the last 10 minutes. Come launch day you better not even think about STO. I'm gob smacked at this.
 
30mins ago i queue for 10 mins got in, it then crashed, so have to queue again and i have yet to move a place in 10 mins :(
