There was no mention of it being the first of anything, simply that it's a new class of ship & some of it's components use borg technology.
My phone is a new model phone & uses an AMOLED display. That does not mean it's the first phone to contain an AMOLED display.
Seven told Picard it was the first of a new class of ship using tech derived from the borg cube in episode one.

NO! Not the first ship to have borg tech, the first one using tech derived from the borg cube.nowhere there does it say it's the first ship to have borg tech fitted.
FTFY.She specifically says "[The Stargazer] is [the first of] a new class of ship, it utilizes components derived from Borg technology researched on the Borg cube artifact."
Right, but this isn't about voyager or your shiny new phone. it was stated it was the first of a new class and it's safe to assume it was the first ship in service to use tech derived form the borg. Really not sure why you're arguing about it.Voyager had borg tech onboard, but it wasn't built like that, it was field modded & you can bet it would have been ripped out upon return until the implications were understood.
But this is a new future timeline so that Picard wouldn't have travelled to the 1890s.I'm beyond annoyed that Ghinan doesn't know who Picard is, seeing as she met him in the 1890's!
Is he still walking about with a face like a smacked arse all the time?
No no, this is before the change in the time line, that's why they are there, to stop the change before it happens. But this is a new future timeline so that Picard wouldn't have travelled to the 1890s.
Yes before the thing that changed the future. But Picard is in the changed future so that version of him would not have gone to the 1890s.No no, this is before the change in the time line, that's why they are there, to stop the change before it happens.
If you referring to the fact that he has aged somewhat then, yes, it’s a tricky thing to reverse.
