Decent episode. Not really into the queen being at a party, but at least the story advanced a bit, and is interesting enough to keep me guessing.

Predictions
1. Looking forward to borg queen 1v1 when they make it back to the future. What would a Collective run by Agnes look like? Maybe she would get in their heads and free them all. Or maybe not.
2. Messing with Soong in the past is going to have consequences for Data in the future. Maybe that's how the timeline changed and not actually the Picard ancestor. Soong probably has a watcher too.
3. The doctor is a perfect setup to get her and her kid in the future on a starship just like beverly and wesley. Maybe they also have a watcher.
4. Don't know what's going on with Raffi, they've made a point of her being the odd one out for a few episodes. Maybe she just doesn't make it back.

Spaceships, time travel, future tech, alien species, Starfleet - see your point.
trapped on earth more a drama series and boring as hell with science fiction in the background. just what everyone wanted...

atleast the worst holodeck episodes had a good plot

But they did a whole movie about time travelling back to earth which is regarded as been one of the best by fans.

I don't think the writers are in the wrong here, I think it's down to the viewers personal taste.

Again another episode of fluff apart from the Spanish chap and the Borg queen.

Everyone else Q can vanish.

It's still better than Wokeish Discovery but I must admit the last episode dragged a bit.
Further to thoughts above, running a side bet with my missus that at least one of them stays in the past. My money is on the Spanish guy deciding to stay with the doctor. Though it would be a nice dark ending if the price of saving the future is that no-one gets to go home.

1. I'm expecting that the hooded Borg Queen on the Stargazer is 'revealed' as Jurati.

3. Rios/Earth Doctor. I thought that as well, but then changed my mind and agree with Vern. If Rios does bring the family to the future, then the good work she has done (hospital, no fee treatement etc) would cease - so best he stays with them. I hope not though, as Rios is a decent character.

4. Raffi - hope she doesn't make it back too as she sucks donkey balls. But isn't her arc to get Legolas back from the dead?

I miss good Star Trek. I might have to watch TNG for the nth time. Probably start with series 2 and skip most of that. Maybe watch 1 episode from series 1.

Another episode I had to skip through and watch in small chunks to regain my composure and remove the cringe and annoyance. I was surprised to see Lieutenant Ducane in this week's episode. Then I remembered this wasn't clever enough to do that.

What a mess.

It wasn’t enough to have time travel… they had to go full inception on top of it too

I really want to love this but the amount of filler and nonsense side quests is comical.

Sounds like most of you won't be happy unless they straight up remake TNG.
I’d have been happy if they kept the same basic outline and lost the guff.

In 2 episodes they encountered the Borg and went back in time. Decent.

They’ve then spent 5 episodes faffing about LA going to find a watcher infiltrating a party so he could chat to his ancestor, met up for drinks at 10 forward, gone to the Mexican hospital (twice) and that’s not to mention mucking about inside robo-Picard’s mind.

….and what happened to the “butterfly effect”. They’re now openly causing chaos, beaming people around and showing future tech to anyone and everyone that’s willing to look!

The Borg queen story is a great idea. Why has it taken 7 episodes for the queen to get loose and cause mayhem? They could have crashed in the past, gone to find a mcguffin to get the ship back to working order and had the queen escape whilst they were out (sticking with the idea she’s now within the doctor).

The later episodes could have shown the queen assimilating a large population of people, seen the big change of starfleet > confederation and had the whole totalitarian future scenario AFTER seeing the queen screw it all up.

If you wanted to use Q, you could still set up some final trial for the crew to save the day.

This, 100%

I hate these waste of time episodes in any series, todays poking around Picards head was one of them, a wasted episode.

It is cheap and easy to make is why most of this is set in "current" time. Aren't they filming both series back to back before Stewart pops his clogs? Poor old fella is sounding very rough and frail. He is looking and sounding out of breath just mumbling and squeaking his lines.

Yeah, there was a big speech about the simplest changes can have dramatic effects for the future - now it's just got silly with the amount of shenanigans the team a re getting up to!

I wasn't thrilled with last nights episode, but then on reflection, we got a huge insight into Picard's history, which i found interesting.

Not sure how the Scooby Doo gang can save this without the Butterfly effect altering the future anyway - unless they do more time travel or Q does a hard reset - or they just ignore it completely when they get back to their own time.
