So a single episode left and they've got so much to resolve in it,

The sick Q thing
Make sure the Europa mission goes ahead
Stoop Soong and then get nack to the future/present.

Don't know how they'll manage that all in one episode in a meaningful way.

Also the Doctor in 2024 on seeing the Padd states 'a whole ER in there' erm we already have iPads that can do much of the data and file access and are already used in hospitals and such. Yes it can't run actual diagnostics but she seemed surprised to see a tablet.

Also why create Borg that don't really look like borgs and still use current gun tech? But have green lasers on their pre existing handheld guns. Just silly lazy writing.

That whole episode just felt so damn stupid, it was impossible to take any of it seriously!

I haven't been paying the greatest of attention to this! So, did I miss the bit where they made a copy of his memories?

Apparently the ship makes a copy of everyone who has ever been on board, or something. So essentially you can make a hologram of anyone now that has been on the ship. Makes data protection a nightmare I bet, if you don't agree, lmao.

Picard Season 2: Get To The Point

With all modern series I just think "only X mins left of this series and lot to wrap up, why are we watching the same flashback and sexual tension 6 times".

Jesus christ, wtf did I just watch?

A near 600 year old Luger at the bottom of an ammo can working flawlessly like it’s 5 minutes old.

A phaser self destructs about 5 feet in the air above 4 people yet injures nobody and damages nothing.

The “borgified” spec ops team were basically Star Wars storm troopers.

Apparently the Borg are now going to be the galactic Salvation Army.

A hologram being projected by the ship for some reason needs a mobile emitter, and would prefer to “fight fair” instead of letting shots pass through him..

Seven has to pay a price to get her wound on her abdomen cured…which somehow means all her head and hand implants come back….for some reason…..

No mention of Q or his illness, so that’s gonna be crammed into the final episode.

At the very least the tantalising story about picards ma seems to be done, and I could give less than 2 ***** about that.

I’ve seen some **** in my time but this….

I did mention some of that earlier. Also the Luger wasn't 600 years old. They are in 2024. So it's only about 80 years old

Seven was happy at getting her borg bits back she missed them apparently.

Even 80 years is pushing it a bit, for some reason I thought they were back in the future in that scene. Buy yeah, god awful regardless.

F me. These constant flashbacks are just dreadful. Makes a rewatch in future impossible, though why I'd want to I don't know. Absolute disaster of an episode.

I enjoyed the episode, most of it anyway, felt a bit like First Contact. But yes, those flashbacks slowed the pace to a stop everytime :(

Quite gruesome for a Star Trek episode in places too.

I have to say, I've quite enjoyed this season. Granted I gave up with traditional star trek quite a while ago now, and don't think too hard about what's going on. Maybe that's why I can get through the episodes taking some form of mild entertainment from it. This weeks episode was probably the worst of all, but I didn't hate it like some of you lol

The flashbacks of when Picard was a boy is boring, but I'm enjoying everything else. Yes, they have decimated the Borg and have turned them into something very different, but again....this isn't traditional Star Trek.

Try and think of it as if it was a CW show like Smallville or maybe a parody of TNG. I bet if you added a laughing track you'd enjoy it a lot more.

I guess Picard's brother doesn't exist..................

The show is a train wreck, Im just going to pretend this series does not exist as I love the Next Generation, And Picard is my fave Captain, but this show makes him into a complete moron.

Didn't his brother appear as a monster of sorts in one episode for a few moments?

I am a little disappointed that they didn’t use the EMH from Voyager as the hologram. Would have been funnier than turbo ninja man!

Probably the best episode of the season but that’s not saying much :o

What topped it off for me is how they gave it a big “oh don’t disturb the timeline … even the slightest thing will screw it up”…. Fast forward to this episode and they let a human-Borg hybrid fly off in to the future with their own hope of getting home.

Lul.

This show had such great potential but they just wasted it. If this season ends with everything back to normal I'm going to be annoyed because TNG writers would have wrapped this up in a 2 part show

Q will take them home, it's the only solution.
