Apparently the ship makes a copy of everyone who has ever been on board, or something. So essentially you can make a hologram of anyone now that has been on the ship. Makes data protection a nightmare I bet, if you don't agree, lmao.

Q will take them home, it's the only solution.I am a little disappointed that they didn’t use the EMH from Voyager as the hologram. Would have been funnier than turbo ninja man!
Probably the best episode of the season but that’s not saying much
What topped it off for me is how they gave it a big “oh don’t disturb the timeline … even the slightest thing will screw it up”…. Fast forward to this episode and they let a human-Borg hybrid fly off in to the future with their own hope of getting home.
