Star Trek: Picard

I shouldn't rag on actors looks, as it has no bearing on their work.

But, she looks quite weird and I couldn't put my finger on it until I saw a comment where somebody said she is a "human cabbage patch doll."

It was the same for me with her in Devs - as you say, looks shouldn't matter if the performance is good but I just find her uncomfortable to watch, it's not that she's ugly, just weirdly awkward in looks and mannerisms.

Well I'm still enjoying Star Trek The Vampire Diaries

Plenty of monsters, and can't wait to see who gets with who.....Picard and Laris, Seven and Raffi, Rios and Ramirez

Hopefully Guinan will learn some more spells from her bottles so she can summon the demons

pretty bad filler episode, that was about 5 mins of story and 40 mins of yawnfest, I actually went off to do some chores in the middle of it and forgot I was even watching anything.

Finding it really hard to enjoy these Picard series, I loved watching and re-watching a lot of the old TNG/Voyager/DS9 episodes and this just has such a different feel in a bad way. Stewart was great once he got into the Picard role after the first TNG season, but this just feels far too long after TNG finished and like a big pop band doing one final money grab tour/album before they retire.

It's mad that they have a 10 episode season and STILL have episodes where literally **** all happens to advance the story along. This entire story line could have easily been played out in 2 50 minute episodes, yet here we are 7 episodes in and it's been about 20 minutes of story overall with the rest being redundant padding around story elements to get more episodes made.

Can they not just get to the ******* point? It's tedious watching this crap it really is.

oh, it's Baltar!

The rest of it...yeah i agree with everyone else. It doesn't feel right having filler episode in a short series run. It shouldn't be necessary and something i would have expected competent writers could avoid.

Bored of it now. i'll still watch it of course, wanting for it to improve somehow but it wont. And i'll watch the final series because who doesnt want to see most of the old team back together for one last mission, right? But i know that'll be trash as well. And if anybody still doesn't understand why we keep watching, it's because we grew up with proper star trek. Discovery, for example, has never been proper star trek which is why i didn't bother watching the last series - i dont care enough to watch it burn.
