Star Wars. 4 5 6 1 2 3 or 1 2 3 4 5 6?

I particularly enjoyed episode 3.

Be warned, chances are she'll prefer 1,2,3 over 4,5,6 simply because if you compare production/special effects quality side by side... they don't really stand up :(
 
4, 5, 2, 3, 6. Skip 1.

You get the "Father" reveal, then see Vader's backstory and then conclude with Jedi and Vader's redemption.

How can you claim to be a Star Wars fan but not enjoy 1, 2, and 3? I'm a Rocky fan and I even enjoy Rocky 5 for the simple fact it's 2 hours of of a franchise I like, doesn't really matter if its the best of the series it's still better than no Rocky. Likewise for Star Wars.

4-6, 1-3 is the way to watch it. Mostly because watching 1-3 first will put you off 4-6...

Rocky IV I actually quite liked though!

Same here. But like all films I have my favourites. Never really understood all the hate.

@ the OP. TBH, I wouldn't make her watch it. She'll just annoy the **** out of you asking a gazillion questions. Then at the end she'll say something like 'I don't get it' or 'I didn't like it'.

Either that, or she'll be asleep after 30 minutes.
 
He doesn't know yet. He has the position of agreeing that any star wars is better than no star wars although fears VII might alter that viewpoint.
 
1-6, considering it's meant to be an evolving timeline of the events from The Phantom Menace to The Return of the Jedi.

But you'll find you won't go back that often to 1-3 as 4-6 is so much more gripping and entertaining (especially The Empire Strikes Back), but if you have old copies of 4-6 which didn't include updated lightsaber colours/effects or adding Hayden Christensen at the end of 6, then i'd watch them.

I'm a big fan of the politics of intergalactic trade federation legislation and racially stereotyped clown-like fish-lizards so I just watch episode 1 then retire to my chambers for a brandy.
