**** Star Wars: Battlefront ****

It really gets to a point where getting into an atst just = a quick death, seems all you do is get locked onto with homing missiles and there's no real way to avoid them unless you can duck behind terrain. Got into one earlier on the last stage of hoth and was locked onto several times in a few seconds, just had to bail out of the thing as theres **** all you can do against them homing lameness in this ****.

Its bad enough with vehicles but also people get locked onto as well, might as well go the whole hog and make the blasters have homing lasers.

A slang term for crap is now starred out...amazing.

Played beta medal of honor, no buy.
played beta sw battlefront,no buy.
coming game from dice seems likely a no buy on default.

they really need to skip the console kid design but as long it makes a ton of money, shrugs

I think you will be waiting a long time for a game that lives up to your experiences in BF2.

Can live with most of the gimmicks but homing shot is starting to do my head in - last game I played before work died 5 times in a row to it almost instantly on spawning and no amount of trying to find cover, etc. seems to stop it.

Good thing I'd just finished swallowing the mouthful of dinner before I clicked play on that . LOL!.

Good example though of why I give Dice short shrift when issues like that shouldn't even get past alpha testing let alone in products years later.

I've dodged a few by crouching behind things, seems random as to if it works or not. Its a pretty irritating game to play, one round i spawned in an atst and as it was doing the spawn animation raising itself up i got locked onto and hit by a missile. Then again wouldn't have made a difference as dice in their infinite wisdom never bothered their holes to put in some kind of countermeasure so lock ons are pretty much a certain hit unless you duck behind something, and even then its iffy if you dodge it.
