Whelp tried to play the game twice today and changed my mind before even starting it... didn't think I'd be bored of it this quickly a few days back but its just not pulling me in any more.

Tony you tried red orchestra 2? Think it might be right up your street if youre enjoying the fogfest that is H&G!!

Miles better yet similar style, has a good multiplayer campaign too.
 
Looks like the first friend might actually get BF (haven't really played as quickly get bored playing multiplayer solo).

My question is, if we are origin friends can we partner up and he spawn on me etc or is it random who you are partnered with?

I've played in games during the beta with my nephew. So yes it is possible to group up with people in your Origin friends list. In the same game and on the same team.
 
Easter Eggs now confirmed. DICE spend more time putting in n00b crutches and stupid gimmicks than sorting out the game. I seriously cannot wait until this game dies on PC. :D
 
Watched that total biscuit guy play this and review it and he tore right into it. Most of which I have to agree with and just don’t see me buying this. As far as I can make out its shallow, lacking a decent learning cure and looks to get boring after a while.

It looks and sounds absolutely fantastic no question but play looks far too controlled and easy. If you watch his clip you have to simply nod that he is right. Shame as I’m a huge fan of the original films and toys but this comes over poor on depth. Probably is good fun and I think developers are doing too much to make it fun way to easy.

Because this game could have been great and had great potential but again DICE have ruined it.

I'm surprised there isn't a CTE announced yet because if any game needs it, it's Battlefront.
 
EA CEO has already admitted to the game lacking for hardcore gamers, he said they wanted it to be accessible to everyone of all ages :(

It is good fun though, certainly not going to get a full year or more out of it but it will do for now....
 
I still haven't bought this, as much of a die hard SW fan that I am... I want to wait till this comes down in price.

E: by which time most will have moved onto the next game!
 
Is the game officially dead on pc now? Have been trying to get a game for past 20 minutes and been stuck in several lobbies waiting on 20+ players. This is in popular game modes, supremacy and walker assault.
