Agreed the accents are horrific, also paid promo take which a massive pinch of salt

It looks amazing. Thing that is going to be a different it has a precursor from bf4 so it is bound to be a success unless they change the formula from bf which be unlikely particularly using the frostbite engine.

It doesn't matter where you buy it, it will be an Origin code and patches. Origin is here to stay, get used to it. If they'd increase the friends list count past 100 I'd be very happy though.
Saw it confirmed earlier this WON'T use Battlelog.

Screw modern EA and every game they ruin. Wonder how much 'DLC' they will come out with, bet you there will be 'DLC' before it even comes out.

If it means that the netcode works flawlessly with 40 players then I think most will want a lower player count than suffer with Frostbite's netcode problems.

I was under the impression the part of the trailer AFTER Darth Vader is actual gameplay footage, as it looks less rendered and more actual gameplay, also showing inside cockpit view of an Xwing or something
Also if this does not have DX12 from the get go I think it will more than likely have Mantle, which will give AMD cards an edge in performance
It looks basically like BF4 reskinned for Star Wars, so should be half decent, just a shame EA have anything to do with it

If it's just BF4 skinned I will be extremely disappointed , unfortunately I think it will be exactly that so I wait to be pleasantly surprised

Im not sure what i was expecting, but 90% of that footage is useless to guage an opinion from.
BF4 reskinned is what i expect and though that might be fun for a time, given the mess BF4 ended up being, i shall not be preordering.

40 players is indeed confirmed by dice themselves. Apparently it's optimal for what they wanted to achieve in battlefront, and are keen to differentiate between Battlfront and Battlefield.
This game had better not suck, or I swear to god I'll have all of their testicles on a barbecue this summer.

PS4 and Xbox One have 64 player mltiplayer on BF4 and BF:Hardline.
This will use the same frostbite 3 so I highly doubt its console. Plus BF3 was 64 player on PC while PS3 and 360 were still 24 player
This. The fact they are not using battlelog says they are trying to create a different experience here. I think they heard everybody moaning that Battlefield Hardline was just a BF4 and it wasn't different enough. So now Star Wars will be plenty different

From a video I watched yesterday I got the impression 20 vs 20 was just one of the modes....
Seems I might be installing this along side BF4 rather than replacing it.

I don't think its intended as a BF4 replacement. The way they are talking they are wanting to create a star wars game thats very different from battlefield.
