**** Star Wars: Battlefront ****

I noticed if you use your partners hand cards when your low level it helps a lot, they generaly have much better hands.
I was having a lot of fun with my partners poison grenade, and thought I want this myself, only to see it locked behind the DLC :(

a lot of games I will have no partner, anyway to force it assign one?
 
The one shot to die (yet they never die) is more a general fps problem with server lag. I get it sometimes.

I find all the weapons fairly balanced but here are the powerhouses.

At base the DL-17 pistol is hard to beat.

The EE11 and the A240 are evenly matched for mid range with the nod going to the A240.

A lot of people now tend to use the EE4 but I can't be arsed to unlock it.

I use the bacta bomb (to heal) the jump pack (unless in an enclosed space then the grenade. As for the charged star cards I seem to match them to maps with the personal shield used on the larger more open maps and the disruption (overheats their guns) and scan pulse (see enemies through walls) on tighter maps.
 
I used to only use the DL-19 and went 33-12 with it on one match but switched back to it the other day and can't hit **** with it!!
 
Any Fury X users out there get the occasional crash with a driver error message appearing? For the 2 most recent drivers 16.9.1 & 16.9.2 I also get massive graphic artefacts / flickering for a couple of seconds if I'm in a lower part of the ground or flying immediately under a star destroyer. It doesn't happen very often but is annoying all the same...

How do you actually use you partners card? I've never tried it...
 
Hey guys, I just installed this game a few days ago and it was running fine on the particular games modes I tried, now today I tried to play again on a different game mode and my fps has dropped from 100+ to 5-15fps so now the game is virtually unplayable and it doesn't matter if I chang the video settings from Ultra to Low, its exactly the same?

I have Windows 10, i5 3.5ghz, 8gm ram and R9 290 4GB and playing on 144hz monitor.

Can anyone offer any advice for a fix? Or is their a particular AMD driver version I should be using?

Have you done anything with changing/tweaking core parking? incorrect settings for that will destroy your performance in Frostbite engine games.

Had a problem like that a while ago, had 2-3 months where I couldn't play the game. It was so bad, even the interface was lagging. Tried updating drivers etc, nothing worked.

Replaced my router, (because of something else), and the game randomly started working again , although the game never claimed it had connectivity problems. May have just been co-incidence, but sort of annoying I've never figured out why it started working again.

Not a particularly helpful post, but maybe it's something network/internet related.
 
Thanks for your replies, it seems ok now, it appears it's just certain games modes like the heroes modes. If I play other game modes it works fine on ultra settings. Very strange but I guess it just needs a patch or something.
 
Easy to sort just don't play the hero modes;)

It's annoying and poor that it's not been fixed. Bug was introduced for a second time with the bespin dlc.
