Unless they've changed it since I last played getting 40+ kills in 10 minutes was easy once you had a few things unlocked, even with the nerf you could still chain the shotgun type weapon. personal shield and barrage grenade thing and only heroes or someone doing the same thing could stop you - even people loving the DL-44 or whatever it was weren't a match.

Yeah...thats why I hardly play it any more , and that skirmish mode...what a waste of time that is.

was owning up kids in beta but the game is a nice shell without content so didnt buy it and if dice can release that sort of crap guess what BF1 is a no buy 4 ppl

I was excited for this game for a long time and I'm a massive star wars fan, I recently downloaded it and installed it for the 4 hour free trial which I played over about 5 days. Well 90% of my time in-game my frame rate was messed up and appeared at around 5-15fps and often it would say network issues to sever in top right corner of the screen, I don't know if the two issues were linked but have any of you guys experienced this and is there a fix?
It's put me off buying it because of these issues but I did really want to get it. And the times when it did work it ran amazing and looked beautiful and really enjoyed the gameplay too.

its ok, its still a bit hollow.
its fun to play for an hour or so (if a bit run/spam/run/spam gameplay) at a time
my main problem is simply that its really annoyingly restrictive on game modes and server map rotations
want to play walker assault? you only get the base maps in the rotation
want to play walker assault on the dlc maps? only 1/3 (so far) has that, and to play it you have to play all the Bespin map modes in rotation (blast, heros etc etc)
want to play death star dlc? you have to play the fps maps in rotation with the flying maps
if you manage to find and select the exact map / mode you want you get one go at it before it rotates the mode again
its just completely annoying

It can be good fun. Stunning sounds and graphics though.

It is great fun. It feels like Star Wars and as 'chopper says, it's great to pick up and play for an hour. You can get it cheaper at £16 from cdkeys.com the problem is after a while you will yearn to be able to play the dlc maps which are hard to get at a reasonable price (£39.99 for season pass). If you can hold off then it's coming to Origin Access which is only 3.99 a month. I have Origin Access and think it's great value - some cracking titles available including the Mass Effect and Crysis trilogies...

Bought the Death Star expansion this morning, not showing up yet, do I need to trigger an update to get it to work? - Origin says my game is up to date.... :/
Edit: Working now but apparently no players on Fighter Squadron, great, the one thing I want out of this game (attack the Death Star) and I can't. :/

Fighter Squadron is just the most kills on each side on timed game. The game mode where you attack the Death Star is called 'Battle Station'. And it's pretty awesome!

Got a few more games last night I'm pleased to say, I was expecting an attack the Death Star by flying down the trench a la the first film, did I imagine that bit? (Hope not, this is the Star Wars nirvana I'm looking for!
