They had to add "heroes" didn't they..
Still completely spoilt by the fact I can't have mindless fun running around various maps and fighting the AI like I did in Instant Action and Galactic Conquest modes on the previous games. Nothing shown has made me reconsider getting the game.
I'm also doubtful it will be any good from a purely online multiplayer FPS point of view. Given that they've basically stripped the series of the things that made it great, they should have simply made Battlefield in a Star Wars skin - at least that way you know what you're going to get.

thats got to be skirmish mode surely, the evil (sorry not much of a sw nerd) players suck terribly it must be AI.

Ever since Planetside i've wanted a decent larger scale Star Wars Battlefront type game and i guess they have just about done it with this. BF3/4 reskin would have been fine too.
It gameplay does look very consoley, im sure the PC port wont be too dissimilar
But they have nailed the sound, that is what matters. I love it.

Dice ruined battlefield after BF2.
its crap with bc2, bf3 and bf4 and bf5 will be the same crap.
they can make good looking games nowadays but their gameplay is gone its no fun anymore.
Well, the graphics do look absolutely amazing... I don't think anyone can argue that this will be the best looking star wars FPS ever.

For those hyping up the graphics just remember the current trend these days is to show trailers/demo's in one light light then just before the game goes live turn down the graphics settings so it looks nothing like the original footage. We've seen this from Sega and Ubisoft before not sure if EA have pulled this stunt yet nut i wouldn't put it past them.

The netcode is horrible, movement is horrible and its a dead game.

Yep fully agree. I wonder if they will finally shut down the brazil/mexico route so we have to pay full price? I will definitely want to play this before I pre-order.

Since when did aggregated reviews sites stop being a good source of information? Answer: never. If you can't objectively read multiple articles/sources and build up a balanced impression of the facts based on the good and the bad then that is your fault, not the reviews.
